Summary of services etc.

The Bovey Tracey Information Centre has now reopened alongside the Library in the new Riverside Community Centre adjacent to the Station Road car park by the river bridge. Opening times are given below. The Information Centre is staffed by a team of around 20 volunteers whose extensive local knowledge is put to the test by thousands of visitors and members of the local community every year. The Information Centre provides a single point of contact where visitors and local residents can access a variety of information relevant to Bovey Tracey and the surrounding area, particularly Dartmoor National Park. If you need to know about local shops and services, places to visit, things to do, where to stay, where to eat, buses, trains, theatres, cinemas, where to walk or cycle, if you need maps, books, postcards or that special local souvenir, then drop in and see us.

In view of restrictions on activities caused by the Covid pandemic, the Information centre is currently operating restricted opening hours, It is currently open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10.00 am - 12.00 noon and 2.00 pm to 4.00pm and on Fridays and Saturdays from 10.00 am to 12.00 noon only (In line with the Library's opening hours).
